NOTES:
- In the years 1972, ’74 and ’77-’86, there were two New York entries into the Eastern Regional Tournament. In those years New York State was represented by a Metro Champion and an Upstate Champion.
- In 2001, Rolando Paulino Little League won the New York State Championship, but they were subsequently determined to have cheated by using an infamous fourteen year old to help them advance. Massapequa International, the losers in the state finals were declared New York State Champions after the fact. Since the same overage player was on the 2000 Rolando Paulino team, the state runner-up Colonie should be considered the true 2000 New York State Champions.
